Meet Beaux, the charming Labrador with a cute “squished face.” Sadly, his facial deformity resulted in a difficult childhood until he was rescued by his human mom, who gave him a loving home. Thankfully, Beaux’s new life is full of joy and happiness.
Despite Beaux’s imperfection not impacting his skills, the breeders still struggled to find someone willing to purchase him. Eventually, they had no other choice but to give him away for free.
However, it’s not the end of the story. The impoverished dog that was received for free didn’t have a happy life. In fact, he was abandoned on two separate occasions.
Beaux, a hapless dog, had to endure severe neglect and isolation in the backyard. The couple who took him in kept him tied up, and they didn’t show much affection towards him because he had fleas. To make things worse, when the adoptive parents decided to relocate, they sent Beaux away for another adoption.
Jamie came across a dog that wasn’t in the best of conditions. She was taken aback by Beaux’s malnutrition and worm infestation, which had caused him to weigh only 42 pounds (19 kgs). Being horrified at his state, Jamie decided to bring him into her home and shower him with love – something he had never experienced before.
Jamie accompanied Beaux to the veterinarian for a thorough examination and vital medical care. Despite the sluggish journey, Beaux pushed through and is now flourishing more than ever. At last, Beaux is receiving the affection and attention he rightfully deserves.
It’s impossible to separate Beaux and Jamie now. They’ve become the best of friends, and it’s heartwarming to see. Riley, their 15-year-old dog brother, is also part of the gang, and they all get along like a house on fire. They love spending time with each other, whether it’s snoozing, playing, or taking walks.
