From Fearful and Hurt to Happy and Healthy: The Incredible Metamorphosis of a Rescued Puppy.

Terrified & in Pain, Puppy’s Amazing Transformation after Rescue

It was just another day in the life of Animal Aid Unlimited when we received a call to rescue a sick puppy off the gritty streets of Udaipur. Upon arrival, we found him hiding in a plastic bag, and the moment we touched the bag he screamed in pain. He was desperately hungry, so we could coax him out with biscuits, but every time we tried to touch him he cried out.

This dear little boy had severe mange and a deep wound on his hip that was causing him shooting pains every time he moved. He was in so much pain and agitation that his worried eyes never relaxed for even a moment in the first several days after the rescue. We knew we had to act fast to save this young life.

We took him back to our shelter, where our vets immediately began to treat him with medicine and care. He was given round-the-clock attention and love, with regular doses of antibiotics, painkillers, and wound dressings. It wasn’t easy to bring this sweet boy back to life, but we were determined to do everything we could to help him heal.

After 6 weeks of medicine and care, meet Jumper today! This once scrawny, malnourished pup has transformed into a healthy, happy dog. His fur has grown back, and his wound has healed, leaving him with a permanent scar that serves as a reminder of his difficult past.

Jumper is now full of life and energy, eager to play and run around. He has made many friends at the shelter, both canine and human, and he loves to shower them with kisses. Seeing the joy in his eyes when we arrive each day is all the reward we need for our hard work.
But our work is far from over. There are countless other animals like Jumper out there, suffering on the streets with no one to help them. That’s why we urgently need your support to continue our mission of rescuing and healing sick and injured animals.
Please donate today to be the reason someone heals: https://www.animalaidunlimited.org/donate. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these innocent creatures.
